Surrey Festival Choir

Martial Arts Training across Surrey
Great Britain Martial Arts Academy (GBMAA) runs academies in Epsom, Leatherhead, Cobham, Guildford and elsewhere. The martial arts academies are family friendly and train men, women and children in MMA (mixed martial arts) which incorporates elements from many styles such as Kick Boxing, Kung Fu, Karate, Thai Boxing, etc.
Starting at age 4, we offer age specific programmes for children, providing an ideal blend of Martial Arts, life skills and safety skills. We teach kids self discipline, confidence and control.
Our women only classes are specifically designed to tone, burn calories, increase your heart rate and keep you fit. You can also lose weight, improve health and reduce stress.
There is the option of competing both nationally and internationally through our clubs.

Solid Gold Country Legends

Solid Gold Country Legends brings to the stage the perfect mix of old and new country hits from the classics of Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson and Tammy Wynette to the rising stars of today with Garth Brooks and Shania Twain to name just a few.
Songs featured in this special evening of country music have achieved Gold Disc status for record sales and include Billie Jo Spears' Blanket On The Ground, Johnny Cash’s Folsom Prison Blues, Dolly Parton’s Jolene and Kenny Rogers’ Lucille among many others, so Solid Gold Country Legends recreates some of the finest Country Music ever produced.
Vocals are led by British Country Stars Jeanne Jordan and B J Thomas.
Together BJ and Jeanne have toured the world, visiting over 20 countries with their Solid Gold Country Legends show.
Joining them on this hand-clapping, foot-stomping journey into the best of country music are the brilliant Outlaw Country Band, which features drummer, Steve ‘Warby’ Warburton who turned pro at 15 and is now celebrating 46 years in music. The band also features up-and-coming young guitarist and vocalist Luke Thomas who is already making a name for himself among British country music fans after recently returning from Nashville where he performed at the years biggest country festival.
Add all this together with lots of stunning costume changes and a large slice of fun and you have a great night of solid gold country music.

Marlings Morris Ladies North West Clog Dancing
Mondays, 8.00pm - 10.00pm at Godstone Baptist Church Hall.
We are an all female North West Clog dancing side who dance traditional dances for fun and to keep the practice alive.
We dance to a live band of ladies and gents. All ages are welcome but it is quite energetic at times.
We practice Sept - April and dance in public during the summer.
